Maggie started her career as a primary school teacher and taught for six years before giving it all up to follow her dream of singing professionally. She toured the world singing on Cruise Liners, entertained the locals in Oman and The Middle East and worked in theatre with the likes of Johnny Beattie, Cannon & Ball and The Grumbleweeds before eventually deciding to start M&M Theatrical Productions with her friend Chris Mitchell in 1995. Maggie’s teaching background helps to ensure that all of our productions are not only entertaining but educational as well thus helping class teachers meet the needs of the new National Curriculum. Maggie is heavily involved in the production side of the business from writing scripts, directing shows, and costume and scenery design to all of the musical direction for the productions.
